North Star air Ltd. is a specialized charter air service offering flights across Ontario's Last Frontier. Based in Pickle Lake, the farthest northern road accessible community in Ontario, North Star Air Ltd. offers flight services as far north as Hudson Bay. To the south we offer service to Minnesota and points in-between. To the east we fly as far as the James Bay coast and to the west we reach into the Manitoba border.

We are proud to offer first class aircraft North Star Air Ltd. is the first and so far only float plane operator in the north to invest extensively in fleet upgrades which include both turbine and amphibious float plane capability. We regularly maintain and upgrade our equipment to ensure safety standards are not only met but also exceeded for both our staff and our customers.

We provide services for tourism, mineral exploration support service, sightseeing trips to the coast (Beluga whales and Polar bears and other flora and fauna), fly-in fishing (outpost, yurt and camping) trips, flight and outfitting assistance for canoeists. In addition to flights we offer expediting services for fuel, equipment and groceries, vehicle storage and outdoor equipment rental.
